seven-days-a-week asked: I saw the little Nick Fury/ Samuel L. Jackson debate, but unfortunately I think the closest thing you got to the original Nick Fury from the comics is Tommy Lee Jone's character from Captain America: The First Avenger. Which is sorta close since its the whole Howling Commandos thing.
- yeah, probably why i really liked jones’ character haha. Like i get why they wouldnt put a character like him in the films, especially with the modern day censor board. the original nick fury is really an R-rated bastard. but i more have a problem with the comics back tracking and taking out the original nick fury to make a new character more appealling to what the masses who see the films are used to. its a diservice to the character for money.
